About
Hi, my name is Jahdai Cintron and I’m a 26 year-old web designer/developer from Florida. I started getting into web design at a young age when I helped make the website for my high school. From there I went on to study Digital Media at Daytona State College in Florida and Computer Science at the Metropolitan University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Since, I’ve moved back to my hometown of Deltona, Florida and I’m continuing my work as a Freelance Web Designer.
Professional Experience
I’ve worked as both Senior-level Web Developer and Designer at several Internet and multimedia companies. These experiences have given me a wide range of skills including photography, video editing and project management that allow me to offer clients a unique service. My professional background up to this point has given me an incredible amount of experience beyond simply web design and has allowed me to start my full-time freelance career.
Expertise
As a web designer, my expertise lies in creating elegant websites for small businesses or groups. I have worked on a wide variety of project for companies using technologies such as eCommerce platforms, Content Management Systems and database-driven sites.
My aesthetic style can be seen in my work as simple, beautiful and accessible. I use color, contrast, size and positioning effectively to guide the user through the site and I take extra care to make sure that everything is as clear as possible. Standard compliant websites are a top priority of mine, not only in the technology I use, but in the way user’s expect to interact with the website.
A successful website will always have the user’s concerns in mind in everything it does. If the user isn’t happy, the website will fail. I use advanced testing technology to see where websites fail and correct problems, making everyone happier. I also apply the testing to Search Engine Optimization to make sure the right market is being targeted and the website is being exposed to the right people.

Philosophy
“Designers have a dual duty; contractually to their clients and morally to the later users and recipients of their work.”
— Hans Höger
By personally getting to know a business, the website can accurately represent what it stands for and be a positive resource to the company.
Solid design principals are important and up-to-date knowledge of modern standards of design is essential, but a designer who doesn’t compromise and has the client’s best interest in mind is vital to a successful website.
